Samia Fields is a facilitator for the Youth Summit. She moved to Atlanta from Boston, Massachusetts. She earned her Masters in Forensic Psychology at Argosy University graduating Summa Cum Laude. She then proceeded to begin her career path as a Child Advocate with the Fulton County Juvenile Court. Passionate about writing and community-based programs that would help youth and their families, Samia made the decision to step away from social services and psychology to pursue a career in grant writing and program implementation. She currently works as the Grants and Administrative Director for the DeKalb County Juvenile Court. In her free time, Samia loves to travel and eat at different and eclectic restaurants. She also loves music and spending quality time with her family. Grateful for the opportunity to change the lives of at-risk youth, Samia makes sure that new opportunities for funding and community partnerships are continuously sought. Her work serves as a benefit to children, families, and the community. We look forward to having Samia.
