Get ready for the 12th Annual Atlanta Health Care & Music Festival July 28, 2017 & July 29, 2017 scheduled for the distinctive Atlantic Station TWELVE HOTEL located at 361 17th Street NW Atlanta Georgia 30328 Courtland Street Atlanta, Georgia.
The 12th Annual Atlanta Health Care & Music festival is fun for the entire family and offers a wide variety of programs from morning till evening with closing concerts each night. Get ready for amazing concerts from some of your favorite R&B, Inspirational, Jazz & Gospel Artist with workshops and seminars presented by top agencies offering a wealth of networking opportunities.
Again this year we will feature our one of a kind Health and Wellness Pavilion which will be filled with a host of healthcare, wellness providers and partners, offering a variety of free services, including screenings, healthy cooking demonstrations and other activities to “Get You Moving!”. Partners will also provide blood pressure, diabetes and cholesterol screenings and distribute free gluco meters! Attendees will also receive wellness information, back to school supplies and “swag bags” to take home. Our participants will leave feeling encouraged and excited to live healthier with a renewed fresh focus on nutrition, education and exercise.
Highlights include: a Friday Kick Off Celebration Senior Lounge & Wellness Workshops Welcoming Seniors from across the Metropolitan Areas to take part in a “Signature Appreciation Morning Reception” Followed by and back by popular demand the 2nd Friday Night Grown & Sexy Kickoff party. Saturday begins with a Health Care Expo followed by morning and afternoon workshops and seminars. There will be a special choir symposium and midday Financial Empowerment Luncheon presented by top Financial Institutions. The festival closes with a signature red carpet “Night of Excellence” Black Tie Awards Gala & Concert, recognizing those in the community and across the country making a difference in the lives of others. Our mission is to empower our community, elevate the importance of health care & financial stability in today’s ever changing world of diversity.
This event is produced and facilitated by the Leading Women’s Repertory Theatre/ a nonprofit organization under the direction of Dr. RIKI BROOKS who is the CEO/Festival administrator for the past 12 years. Dr. Brooks has received numerous awards and commendations from the City of Atlanta, the State of Georgia and prides herself on bringing quality events into the city. Admissions to the general festival events are free, while some tickets will be sold for admission to the special workshops, concerts, black tie reception and awards banquet.
