Lorra Brown, CPA, LBE Consulting, PLLC, will join the the Womens Empowerment panel " Get Your House In Order" on Saturday morning . Lorra Brown formed LBE Consulting, PLLC in 2010 which is a consulting practice that serves Christian ministries by providing tax and accounting services. Prior to forming LBE Consulting, PLLC; Lorra served as the CFO for the National Ministry of Dr. Tony Evans, who is the pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship located in Dallas, Texas. This experience provided her a unique viewpoint of the financial “inner workings” of the local church and how to help church leaders improve the operations of their ministry through professional consultation. Lorra received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting and subsequently earned his Master of Business Administration in Management from the University of Phoenix, prior to earning her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. In 2010; Mrs. Brown earned a certificate from Louisiana State University-Shreveport in Not-For-Profit Administration. She currently holds a CPA license in Maryland and has experience in everything from small business to large non-profits.
Lorra is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and has extensive experience in training business clients in both QuickBooks desktop and online versions. Her company serves clients around the world, she’s been a speaker at numerous conferences for small business owners, churchs, and nonprofits. She has also written several articles and is the author of Entrepreneur's Guide On How to Build a Solid Business Foundation Financially. She was raised in the church and her great grandparents were pastors, she also has several Bishops, evangelists and church planters in her family, so she has a unique understanding and heart for the local church and ministries.
